Transformers G1 was classic american style animation, made in America, idea from Japan. Looks just like Tom and Jerry's animation to me as well.

Are you kiddin me? G1's animation is horrid.. Tom and Jerry wasn't ever choppy like that.. at best I'd say G1 was a few steps above Speed Racer if anything.. depending on the episode. The only one what actually seemed to have some decent animation attached was the Atlantis Episode..

G1 was nothing like anime that i think of today...like inuyahsu. I really dont think it was anime at all, unless you are just using anime to describe any Animation, however in todays word anime to me are shows from/Made in Japan. And what about today, 10/21/2005's,  episode....Starscream Kicked some Serious Ass. He is that badest b*tch!  LOL. Love him, I think he has more balls then his G1 counterpart anyday!

To watch this series (which I'm a big fan of), it probably should have been called Transformers: Starscream.  He is obviously the main character of almost every episode (and I love it).

 

"Retreat" was the best episode of any TF show I've seen since BW.  Tons of action and Starscream single-handedly kicking every Autobot's ass.  It doesn't get better than that.  I'm actually excited to see the next episode.  I've not seen any GF so I have no idea what's going to happen. :)

 

It sucks that repeats are starting on Tuesday. :tdown

Actually tomorrow reruns will start with Fallen unfortunately. Thunderblast was pretty cool though.

:grr dangit, i was startin to get hooked into the show..:grr well looks like we got a while till it catches back up to where it was.

I guess the fall of the "small fish" is a good place to stop.

 

Scourge voice sounded really weird in this episode especially at the beginning. To bad they removed the "I suppose" that was my favorite Master Megatron line ever.

 

"If its a beast war you want, I'll be happy to oblige"

So were most shows. It still had American design and "key-frames" therefore it wasn't anime.

The Origional Animation designs for the season 1 guys was done in japan, Floro Deary just cleaned them uo, the season 2 and 3 guys were done in armerica.

It sucks I missed most of todays episode but I got to see megatrons fury at the end. Pretty damn sweet
