the worse may armada prime!!

My vote goes to Energon Megazord Prime. I think it was them just trying to cash in on the whole Power Ranger popularity. Well at least I think they`re still popular in Japan. For the most part American kids seem to be getting tired of the Power Rangers. I mean seriously when was the last time you went to Walicron and saw the display more than 1/4 empty? Where as for almost 3 weeks the Walicron in my neighborhood had nothing but the basic, and leader TFs when the Cybertron figs first came out and they only had about 3 of the basic figs and just about one or two of each leader Op,& Megs. The Screamers flew off of the shelves at first.

 

To be honest I`m getting tired of the whole Op needs a super mode mentality. The original G1 Prime had no super mode and kicked Megs` but for several years.

i think a super mode is cool every once in a while... not nearly every frickin episode

I know I am in the minority, but I would take any form of Armada Prime over the craptastic mini-energon-Prime combined mode.  I love the toy as an individual bot, but as a combiner it sucketh much backside.

I really don't like Armada's superpants Optimus...  mainly because of the superpants, and also because I hate his linked head (although this applies to all the Armada combined Optimus')

Honestly, they killed the supermode idea. I think executionwise, powermaster optimus. ideawise, fattimus prime. all around, anything after powermaster. (except Gf convoy)

Armada Prime's supermode was so cheap... I had one and was one of the toys that has most dissapointed me ever. The truck cab itself was not bad, the stacks > weapon thing was sort of cool. But then, the stupid legs in supermode.... totally static in such a ridiculous position. And the lateral panels wouldn't stay attached, stupidly popping out every time. And the torso was no big deal either, looking so empty. This really was a power down! the supermode looked so damned weak and fragile. Cool in the cartoon, but the toy was helpless in supermode.

 

But I voted for Energon Prime combined with anyone. Man, he's so wrong... I didn't ever want him. The energon powerlinking thing was mostly crap in my opinion, mostly the robots that formed the legs, since there was almost no change... so they are basically the same legs of the robot alone, holding twice the mass, they look like clowns. Now THAT was a stupid and unneccessary power up.

Let alone the super mode... the trailer itself looks lame with that shape, then there are the senseless drones... no way, man. They could have used that effort in some better gestalts, or other gimmicks.
