Pondering this.

 

I knwo where are few are nearby. I'd rather find Shockblast just now, and I was thinking of waiting until after SunStreaker for Prowl... but the idea is growing.

 

So, someone who's got him tell me what you think. Worth it? Overhyped?

i say get him hes well worth it and IMO one of the cooler alts around

If you don't already have one of the RX-8's, get Shockblast instead of Prowl.

 

It's an okay mold.....  but getting the arms in and out of the engine bay is a  nuissance, plus there's the mirror issue, plus the fact that the legs are essentially assembled backwards.

Yeah I'd say go for Shockblast instead.  Prowl looks cool, but Shockblast is a cool mold all the way around.

Yeah, looking at him in bot mode he looks like he might have that annoying Wheeljack/Grimlock 'Cannot get the @!#*^ing arms in and out!' problem.

 

 

I have Meister on his way to me in the mail. I do still want SHockblast, but while I saw him lots of places here before when I still lumped him in with Ravage and Grim in the 'no way am I buying that bot being a car' category...now I can't seem to locate one locally.

 

Maybe I'll grab Prowl and wait and see on the Shockblast. Sounds like it's a nother 2 mos before I'd see SunStreaker, anyhow.

I have all 3 BT RX-8's.  I'll ask for BT Prowls for Christmas.

IMO Shockblast has an edge over Meister.  Meister is just TOO plain needs more black paint on the arms....

I say get prowl now.....He is worth it. and his legs were NOT assembled backwards...That is how they are supposed to be and you can always switch them around yourself, i believe there was already a thread about that. Shockblast is ok, however he has his issues too. The hood always comes off, the arms always pop off and his arms are just as tricky to get back in place. ALL the alts/bt have their annoyances Except the S2000 guys.

Actually the Honda s2000 molds and the Jeep molds both are totally easy to me. The Vipers and WRX molds are not bad to change, just sometimes get slowed down fidding with arms going back to car mode. Mustang is the only pain to me so far- love both modes, hate doing the arms/doors.

 

I'm thinking I'll get Prowl today at lunch...

He's gonna panic, though, cause he'll be riding home in the same tote bag I'll be carrying my Swindle, Dead End and Decepticharge figs that are coming home for the weekend.
