Happy Well Roadbots

ya rly, ginormity is an anti-selling point for me...

i agree 100%.

size is definitely not the selling point for me. there are a lot of transformers i turned down simply because of its size. Am I the only one who hates the weapons on these guys? They're so damn gimmicky with their lights and sounds, and is the same size as their torso.

I have a shelf with plenty of headroom that is just begging for me to get ginormous robots to fill it up with. Now if I could only find an affordable Fort Max.

Hmm. BBTS' price on the 1:12 scale ones is higher than A3U, but their price for the others is the same.

They are probably compensating for the extra shipping cost on the larger items.

I heard Jazzwares is bringing the Happywell Roadbots to the US. Are they out already, and if so, can I buy them at stores like Toysrus? I really want to by these so I can bash these into Autobots and Decipticons.

They are not available in big box stores yet. Perhaps late 2007 but no word as of yet.

Mine are in next week and BBTS should be getting them in March.

Spencer.

The large ones are indeed large and going to be very expensive to ship out. There is no getting around that unless you take them out of the package and ship them in car mode. Even then, they are very large cars!

The size is a huge turn off for me too. This is from a guy who wishes the Alternators were deluxe sized. The lack of knees in the smaller ones is a turn off, but I preordered all four of those anyway. Classics needs more troops!

I was wondering how these are in 'person', since they look kinda good on picture. I wanted to get the red mitsubishi one and mod it some how, so I was wondering how the head is attached to the body? My plan is to replace classic Cliffjumper's head (or an alternator's?) onto the road bot. What do you think? Will it work?

first of all you need to reconsider the scale. unless you are talking about the 1:32 scale evo. then maybe.

otherwise they are much bigger than alternators. 1:18 and 1:12 are huge!!!!

Im gonna go look at my roadbots tonight. gargunkle and I bought out a lot of roadbots.
