Unproduced Transtech Cheetor (No Joke)

Recommended Posts

He looks fantastic, and part of me is really sorry that it was never produced. However, another part of me sees how fragile and complex it is, and how dangerous it would be to hand it to little children. Not too mention that the transformation-process would be far to complicated for them. Ergo, less sales, less revenues, less profit, which explains why they went with RiD instead.

As a fan, I am sad that they pulled Transtech. But, from a reasonable, sensible point of view, I can get why Hasbro decided to do what they did.

And yet, a bunch of the RID molds are pretty hard to transform as well.

Because of all of you who BITCHED about BeastMachines when it air, forbid Hasbro does a show that makes you think out side the bos,  and due to the endless death threats and complaints on it we will NEVER see transtech because it ONLY made sence after BM.  Having a show composed of Vehicular Animal-like Robotsthat doesnt procced a show that has animal transformers, the toys would make no Powerglideing sense...

ok im better now, everytime something postitive is mentioned of Transtech I fly off the handle because of all the narrow minded people who felt it was their duty to threaten Hasbro for their shortcomings.

hes right! let this be apon your heads! if you didnt like bm then it was a testiment of what was to come. armada was your punishment for being Protectobots about bm. next time just sit back and enjoy the ride.

and who else knew about this? am i the only one completely in the dark on this one? i had no idea there were plans to follow up on bm. let alone prototypes. if theres a proto on primal/prime i wanna see it. also and finished transformation of cheetor. but i will say that the starscream proto doesnt exactly ressemble him much. not like it matters however. its more than amazing. that and all the concept art seemed very evangelian'esq. and the thinner silverbolt with the sword was to die for.

TO HELL WITH THE KIDS!!

they gotta learn to not put stupid things in their mouths some how. let transtech be the teacher.

Yes, you ARE the only one in the 'dark on this one'.  Transtech has been known for years, and lately it has been a very popular subject around the fandom.

Any one remember that Ps2 game, Kinetics, I believe it's called. the people on there remind me of this Cheetor.

As for the Story of Transtech, I don't know it myself, but I DO know, and this isn't me trying to impress anyone, that Mainframe actually produced a couple of episodes of Transtech before Hasbro pulled the plug. So, somewhere out there is an outline of the story, and scripts for (iirc) 4 or so Episodes.

It was known about but largely speculated, only the Starscream proto had been seen.  It will all be coming out soon ;)
