i thought one of the generics was called acid rain in one episode

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

No thats what they did. Megatron ordered the three dayglow seekers in that picture to attack an autobot group on Cybertron with Acid Rain. Somehow Chip Chase isn't effected by the acid(while the autobots are) and saves the day.

I remember all my buddies in school refered to them as "The Rainmakers". Kids will grasp the most basic name related to what the character did.

As with Chip, he was invinsible because he had courage.

Well, except for this incident that may or may not have happened in an alternate reality.

I think the purple guys who are seen mining in MTMTE are the "clone warriors" ref: Dreamwave comics

don't be a troll xboob

I'd like to see a custom (or legitimate release) of the seeker in Onslaught's colors from Five Faces of Darkness.  Sure it was a coloring error, but he looked cool.

I'm fully aware they are not th same continuity. There is no need to be sarcastic. Im just sayin they had no personalities (that we know of) of their own and never spoke. That is no doubt where Dreamwave got the idea for their Clone Warriors. (oh, and Star Wars Episode 2 must have influenced them too)

They spoke a few times in the piolet. Besides Unnamed Grunts are ALWAYS more interesting than Clones/Drones.

For some reason I don't remember any of these generic Seekers. The only one I do remember is the shot in MTMTE where Starscream is standing beside a Seeker which is painted identically like him.

Colour/continuity errors must've been all the rage back then. :roll
