I don't know if Hasbro is releasing him or not... my guess is that since they are planning on releasing the rest of the line, I don't see why this wouldn't be released as well.

I paid $50.00 through BBTS - it's a little higher than I would have liked to pay but that seems to be the case lately over there. However, the minute I opened the package the regret over how much I paid kinda went away... (lol)

And no, he isn't back heavy at all. He does pretty well for poseability.

I had issues with the skinny legs at first glance from the pics online... but in person it looks like it's to scale.

Alt mode / accessories pics tonight....

Those who have him. Is the waist joint crooked (like on the Japanese image board)? Or was that an isolated case?

How much are you guys paying to get him??

39 dollars including shipping, but I'm not getting him on his own, that's why the shipping is good.

Is laserbeak a character in his own right?  Does anybody know?

That'd be cool if he was, say, a Minicon, then we could have a three pack of Minicons that also turn into chest cozies for Soundwave...Ravage, and Beastbox and Squawktalk.

That would be cool as hell.  Especially if the two combined.

I mean hell, if you're gonna go that far into homage land, just pull out all the stops.

Is hasbro going to release him?

They've got no reason not to.  He's coming, most certainly.  Not to mention that as it stands now, Hasbro's releasing figures that Takara's not releasing, like their myriad basic and deluxe Cybertron exclusives, Dark Crumplezone (Arm Bullet), and maybe the future deluxe Unicron.  About the only thing we're not getting is the blue and yellow Ramble/Scrapmetal drones, but we're getting a different redeco instead.

which is most likely "Coby's Ramble"

I still have issues with the skinny legs after playing with it today. They are just too skinny and femmebotty.

BTW the head can be pushed down more. It takes some fiddling but I'm sure you'll eventually be able to get it right. IMO, it makes the figure look a lot better.

Refer to this gallery if you need pics.

Can you have the chip in without opening his chest, kinda like Overhaul's missile? I like to display my GFs and Cys with their chips in...
