I took his truck parts off in order to touch up the paint and put him back together with out them so I wouldn`t lose his screws and thought it looked funny so I took a pick to show you guys what he looks like with out his shoulder and back armor.

aaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhh teh naked.........

:rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl

Its gonna sound weird...but man, this toy has some of the best legs around.

I love the way they look really close to the original Rodimus style...but without the plain cylindrical look...it looks like these have lots of detail, and it really looks quite awesome.  Its the same with the feet.  Classic Rodimus look with a little bit of modern ingenuity.

By the way, I even like it without the armor...

Thanks Squall, I had originally planned on using the lower legs from the Dragon Gundam but I could only find the Haow Gundam, and the Shining Gundam. Seeing as how the legs of the Haow Gundam looked more like G1 Roddy`s legs than the Shining Gundam`s legs do I decided to go ahead and use them. The only real chanes I did to the legs was making them so the pin from the Smokescreen legs would be able to hold the legs together, and I cut off those extra long toes the Haow Gundam had.

And yes Corsa he does look kind of naked with out his big shoulders, but now you can see how his arms work for their transformation. :tfgrin

You know even though it doesn't create a complete truck, i'm liking him more with the shoulder and back armor off.  He looks a lot more manuverable and IMO because of that more menacing.  He still looks Awesome nonetheless though  :thumb and I never really liked Rodimus all that much.

Why can't all TF's be as well designed as this?  Your Rodimus custom just keeps looking better and better.

I think this is the coolest kitbash I've ever seen...

:fire Stupid can of orange paint I got was defective but I finally got that done yesterday, and the burgundy repainted today, as well as the interior which was the black interior from Smokescreen. I also was able to lift the rear wheels to give it a much better truck angled look than before. Only current problem I`m having is the front end which I think I can fix with a couple of screws removed and replaced from the other side to give a lock where now they match up with the notches in the connecting pieces but when I`m done they`ll not only line up but lock as well. Alright well here he is just after clearcoating his whole body so that I don`t mess up his alt mode paint job while working on him again.

I`ll bet you all thought I`d given up on finishing him huh. :tfgrin Not a chance, I`ve just been really busy in the last few weeks. Finally decided that I had some time to work on him today and with it being my birthday and all I figured I could force out a few minutes. So I got some vital work done on him today. His base mode`s third wheel.

Finally managed a couple of really good close up shots of his face. Something I`ve been trying to get for you guys for months.

If allowed this will be one of my two entries in the up coming tf customs contest. :tfgrin
