im happy about the news the toys seem to be heading the way the collectors want tho im a bit pissed about the hasbro reissues

Takara did a special release of Ironhide and Ratchet a year or so ago.

I just noticed. No one asked how the merger between Tomy and Takara would change things with TFs in Japan?

As for Wheeljack and Mirage........  not sure what the inside track is with Wheeljack but with Mirage the guy (can't remember his name) is attempting to sue Takara for 'borrowing' his design.  So destroyed or not, Takara may as well tell us that it is destroyed.

Guy Ligier was the dude's name.  He sold the rights to his epynonymous F1 team to Alain Prost almost ten years ago, Prost ran it into the ground and the team now no longer exists.  He's 75 years old now, and I doubt he'd even realize if Takara reissued the toy - and as long as Takara named the toy "Mirage" instead of Ligier, I don't think he even retains any rights on which to base a suit.

seeing as the team is long dead and so much time has past i think they could get away with it
