Transformers: Armada

Recommended Posts

Got the first Armada box set but have not watched it yet. I will probably have done so by the time part 2 is released.

But with Rhino releasing Beast Machines I am hoping I can complete Armada and perhaps Energon.

Not sure why though. Armada was ok (at least the eps I saw and the end was cool with the Unicron battles) but Energon was quite bad.

Cybertron is prettty decent surprisingly.

my problems with the kids....  The blank stares without dialogue that seemed to happen whenever they were in the room and learning something new... It's like, OPtimus: "We are autobots" silence ensues

RAD: "autobots?"

see?  that's what bugged me to no end.

That and the godawful need they had to say everything they saw.

Scene: Big explosion

CUT TO:

Autobots reacting to big explosion

CUT TO:

Kids: "An explosion!"

ARGH! Yes, we know! it happened about a minute ago! We all saw it and we had the TF's already reacting to it!

Dodgy VCDs > paying manufacturer's fees for drivel like Armada

Cramp was one of the single best episodes in Transformers history. True.

:thumb  yep u got that right (though i heard somewhere that it was called CLAMP :tfhuh  :wtf ). Starscream was the best thing that happened to Armada-and had one of the best Death scences in any series  :thumb

Unfortunately, a lot of anime are riddled with these problems. Big flash, lots of action, and pretty pictures, but poor dialogue, character development, and plot development.

Or at least after the american re-dub  :tflaugh
