But you're not offering anything to support your opinion. I think what you really mean is that G1 meant more to *you* than the last three series did.

Sure they had flaws but were still memorable. Armada and Energon were rather forgetful.

 

Will get the first Cybertron DVD in next week so I am eagerly waiting to see if that is any better.

I don't need to. You see, I watch some G1 episodes and, I have to say, that I can't really watch them anymore.  I'm just not into the show anymore.  However, using that feeling towards G1, I then watched some episodes of the last three new series.  No matter how I felt about G1, the new TF cartoons are just plain bad.  RID is even better than them, at least I can respect that cartoon for its humor and the good cel animation.

 

G1 had better voice acting, better music, and better animation, in terms of style, than Armada, Energon and Cybertron.  Any of the the new series, with better voice acting, better music and a better animation style (because we know not all anime is created equal), would be better TF cartoons.

 

And, if it's because of nostalgia, why do I like the new TMNT cartoon?  Why did I like the new He-Man cartoon?  Why do I like JLU?    I'll tell you why, they were/are all good cartoons, with good stories, animation and voice acting.

Because you can't switch each hero with another one in JLU. And There is real vilains. And they don't have a  STUPID MONKEE!!!
