ever put the minimun bid on something and dont worry about being outbid? i do sometimes. and i did for bm blast punch primal. so for $7 im really happy. now that i have him and see how cool he is id deffinetly pay more to have him in my collection. the only thing i think that would make him better is some added paint apps. but hes quite show accurate.

 

so anyone else pleasantly surprised with this figure? whats your fav primal. aside from the lio convoys and the rm's, i have all the primals and i dont think i have a favorite. i even liked the bm deluxe primal. he had a cool momkey mode with the angry face and all.

I also got Blast Punch Primal a while ago for a low price (Well, relatively) and he was MISB. I must say he's loads better then I thought he would be. But he's not my favotire Primal, that's the first monkeyprimal. He's still one of my favorites.

Hmm.. for me it has to be an even tie between TM Optimus Primal (I got the lovely translucent purple plastic Metals version) and Big Convoy.

 

Although as far as the shows go I'd have to say Optimal Optimus. *points at avatar*

i can't find the "purple" TM Primal!!!

 

I bought normal 'blue' version of TM Primal off ebay coz i fell in love again with BW as it was aired on YTV after all these years!

 

then i found out about the botcon exclusive from 2000 and SCORED one off ebay!!! HELL YEA!

 

needless to say, aside from some arm/hand limitations... TM Optimus Primal is my fave!

 

also end up finding Optimus Optimal and Primal Prime :)

It depends.... IMO the best MUNKY mode is BM deluxe Primal, by far. Blast Punch Primal has a great 'bot mode but he makes a pretty poor gorilla. I also love Optimal Optimus just because he's so shiny and awesome. :D TM Primal is really cool too... regular ol' BW Primal frightens me. That MUNKY face looks really weird. And the Robotmasters version looks even weirder. Air Attack Primal is also pretty cool, but that pink ass..... :wtf x 10000000

Blast Punch sucks. Hardly any different from his bot mode in monkey mode (completely unnecessary hand transformation), arms are not really poseable, McDonalds colors... Yikes. All the other Primals are better.

The hand transformation is to give him his robot mode hands as opposed to his gorilla hands, which are different.

BW Primal, this one is the reason that I started collection Transformers again, and is still my favorit.  Followed closely by TM Primal, just think the bot mode is friggen perfect.  Then Primal Prime from BM (OP Homage), the only thing I dont like is how his guns on his chest are always out, I was really hoping that they would retract like on the show.  My only complaint.  Then Air Attack Optimus Primal from the RID toy line.  I like Blast punch and Blue Primal, but sold both of those off and just kept the ones I really liked.

Congrats man! Thats an awesome deal!

I got mine when he came out..well a few months later and I really do like him. Hes big and show accurate. Cant get better then that. As for my fav Primal I would say I like the original black monkey bot. His face is better like the me thinks....

oh how i loved the monkey mode for the deluxe bm primal. the face. the normal to angry face. i think that was my favorite feature. the first bm primal did have an odd monkey face ill give you that, but cant beat the friggen artilery that come out of nowere on that guy. air attack primal was good and all, just to big. i think thats why i like blast puncher so much. and if i absolutely had to pick favorites, it would have to be tm primal. maybe its cuz he was the first primal of the series for me to own. ahh the memories.
