in a fight to the death he'd prove he's got the brutality an cunning to prove himself superior, and since for that moment he's not gotta worry bout prime, its just him and a few other soon to be junkers

It's almost not even fair to judge any of these characters, especially G1. They all have the same fault. They're living in a world where the good must win, period. If BM was real Megs would have won.

The only straight loser Megs was RiD. He rarely fought in person and he and his troops were gravely out numbered by some huge bots. Railracer, Landfill and OmegaPrime.

*agrees with tman*

That being said, I'd have to say G1 Galvatron. He'd be the last one standing. You just always got the sense that he was insanely powerful (no pun intended :redface).

G2 Megatron would be #2 though. He was friggin' badass. :inhevil

g2 megs all the way!!! (runs n hides)

I liked G1 Megs in Dreamwave. He was totally ruthless and intelligent. He has very low regard for humans and sees them as nothing more than bugs, and I like how he slowly took over the Decepticons again in G1 volume 3, so it kind of sucked when the book was cancelled. He did turn Blitzwing into scrap metal and had the ability to rebuild his army from scratch.

In a no holds barred, no cartoon rules type scenario I would have to say G1 Megs.

The Dreamwave series did it right... the cartoon didn't (or couldn't) take advantage of the true Megatron.

Speaking of DW, didn't Armada Megatron kill Unicron's G1 Galvatron? With a little help from the star sabre, but still killed him nonetheless... wassap with that?  :tftongue

I don't think that was G1 Galvy, but a twin from another reality.  That's what I heard.

G1 Megs.

He led the Decepticon army for millions of years and seemed to have the balance of Cybertron tipped to his advantage. Proven in "MMTE" as the Autobots were scaveging for energy and the movie where they had dominated. It's not that he lost, it's that Prime always won which is the end result of every series thus far.

One on one, G1 Galvatron.
