Transformers Instructions

Recommended Posts

Hi,

As a collector of G1 transformers I was wondering if there was an online archive of transformation instructions. I have some old transformers and don't want to force them but haven't got the instructions. Is there somewhere I can find it?

Cheers

Anybody know a good site that has Transformer Instructions Scans (Car Robots/RiD)?

http://www.tfracetrack.com/instructions/index.htm has scans of almost every instruction set released in the US before Armada. however, the RID instructions are well, Blot. I would instead use Ben Yee's text instructions at http://www.bwtf.com/cr/toys/reviews/ each toy review has instructions for transforming the toy. you'll have to look at the pics of the toy to see which one it is if you only know the US names, but it's worth it.

-go to www.transformers.com

-click on toys

-click on instructions

easy peasy

im not saying we dont need the instructions, just wondering about peoples ability to transform them without.

as for me, ive only needed instructions on two tfs. strangly enough they were quite simple. optimal optimus bc of his alt modes, particularly the tank mode. usually i just look at all the box pics and just work from that. that day i mustv been tired. and the other was tm rhinox. i thought his back was one solid peice but it flips up on the part with his hump. derrr

my collection is basically scattered g1s to g2. but i have about 80% of everything since bw. that being said i do have alot of the complex ones as well and ive had no trouble with them. and by the complex ones i mean the alts/binaltechs and just the other normal but generally difficult tfs to transform. big convoy is hard to get to fit together perfectly. same with binal smokescreen and tracks. there are so many little things on smokescreen you have to do if you want him to fit together the way he did fresh out of the box. i thought id never get him to fit that way again after trying so hard. but i eventually i got it.

but do they still have the rid instructions up

im not saying we dont need the instructions, just wondering about peoples ability to transform them without.

Mainline, I usually don't.  Looking at the picture on the box is usually all the help I need.  Exceptions are U. Nemesis Prime and original mold alts.

I might be able to get by w/o instructions for some alts, but I don't want to hurt anything.
