As for being "masterpiece," I would say that it has to do more with quality than transformability. (As a note, it's not impossible to have a transforming megatron as a masterpiece from G1; I designed a transform for him that would work.) But all the same, I think it definitely qualifies fro "MP" status.

The mouth? I don't see the problem with it. If you look at what it was based on - the Palisades Megatron Statue... it's dead on. And remember, it was completely scratchbuilt.

 

I am definitely stoked about getting this VERY soon. I think that Jaf did a great job on this - and I will post pics with the Decepticon Alternators as soon as I can.

I think I would have to agree with STPrime... the mouth really doesnt do it justice, I think that he would most deffinately look better gritting his teeth has hes whalin on prime, b Mankizer, you are also right, and it looks dead on with the statue. Either, way, dude, this thing rocks! wish I could have one..

very awesome. ive been waiting for something like this for a long time. Ever since i compared G2 electonic Megatrons size to MP Primes, i wished someone would have made a fig comparable to mp prime, and guess what! someone has! whoopee!

Very nice.  Couple of crits though.  The proportions seem a bit off.  The legs seem to be too long compared to the upper body.  Or the upper body (particularly chest area) seem a bit too wide.  Can't exactly point out which it is, or could be both.  I thought maybe the Palisades statue had that proportions problem too but I looked at the statue and it looked fine.  And as some have mentioned, the mouth or facial expression in general seem off.  For the statue, it looks like Megatron is pissed off and yelling.  The custom, it looks like Megatron just saw Arcee naked.  Overall though, very nice custom/scratchbuild.  :thumb

Not to nit pick or complain because that is one hell of an Action Master but for him to be done wouldn't that inclide the waist flaps to be added?
