If they're not there and you really want them, then fine -- knock yourself out. I just can't see paying more to have them sooner. Anyway, I've never had a problem finding Alts and it's not like I live in the center of the universe or anything.

I can kinda relate to GGG. The TRU near me had Smokescreen and Sideswipe on the shelf for an intior year and nothing but those 2 figs until February of this year. imagine if every store in your area was like this. Scary.

I had major issues up until Dead End came out. Then there was a steady flow of them. You know, some where between 2 to 4 weeks after they been found every where else. Now I've yet to see Wj or Swerve. Swerve I know I missed cause Grim and Swindle popped back up but I've never seen WheelJack in stores. Ever.

oh i thought swindle and grimy were shipping with swerve and swindle and wj were shipping with dc and prowl  :tfhuh  guess i read the case shipments wrong, the only reason i missed either of them was from being lazy, for months my target had nothing was bare to the bone of anything but sw and power rangers, but then i kept reading how everybody was saying targets getting alts and thought everybody (all ya'll) were crazy, what happens i go into target for the heck of it and they stock alts, 3 on the shelf, a swindle, 2x grimy, so i missed somebody oh well, it's a toy i'm not going to get bent out of shape over it, but next time i'll listen  :tftongue  esp being the my target is right next to tru  :thumb

I've heard of Swerve shipping in different assortments - but the four times I've seen him the case assortment was 2x Grimlock, 1x Swindle and 1x Swerve. 

 

Casefresh or Entertainment Earth claim(ed) DC ships in a case with Battle Ravage, Shockblast and Wheeljack.  I'm guessing that Prowl will also ship with these guys in place of Battle Ravage.

I guess for me it's just a matter of looking around. In my immediate area there's nothing but Swindle, but when I was at work I stopped by a TRU once on a whim, and lo and behold: Ravage, Windcharger, Grimlock, Shockwave, etc..... whole bunches of Alts. There isn't a single Alt released that I haven't seen somewhere at least once.

for me wally droping the alts sucked i got every alt i own minus sudeswipe at wally, but it's time to broden my horizons and look for other places to find them, i'm almost sure my target is still stocking the swerve case right now, atleast 1 more before the start the new case but then again they may not, it's not like swerve is all that anyway nor is dc but that's mho, for the most part i'm just waiting on skids and prowl anyway, new molds always take priority anyway

I'd pay shipping becuase I can't find alts in my area anymore.  I think my TRU is going to stop carrying them, leaving 1 target that still stocks them, but it has nothing but Windchargers. 

 

 

If Prowl was in stock, and if they had swerve and DC listed too, I'd be all over it.

That's because you don't collect them.  Many people don't see the sense in paying $60 for the same toy with a few diecast panels, yet that didn't stop you :tflaugh

 

And you (and I) are lucky to live in areas with decent distribution. For many people, online is the only way to buy they can Alts... $20 plus shipping is downright cheap, especially for a new mold.

It's true.  They sent me one when they were released.  Dunno what assortment ever made it to retail though...

For some of us (like me), it's very hard to find new ones anymore. The Target I frequent is clogged with Windcharger and my Walmart has suffered the same fate as many others and stopped carrying them altogether. I splurged and got BT Prowl 'cuz I'd rather have realism over ridiculous cartoony paint aps, but if I want upcoming characters I'll likely have to resort to ordering online. Damn you Hasbro and your lame distribution! :grr

And, of course, Prowl is no longer in stock. Not that I paid the obscene membership fee or anything, but it sucks for those members who want to order the toy.

I am told that the next alts shipping case would be Swindle, Wheeljack, Prowl and Decepticharge, at least in Hong Kong ;)
