I am seriously looking forward to this preview issue.

BRING IT ON!!!!!  :clap  :clap  :clap

Blot smeared on the site of a wall is better art than Marvel's G1 effort.

I dunno, I may be alone, but I really liked the G2 stuff. The G1 stuff was pretty bland, but then again so were quite a few things of its ilk. TBH I don't have any other comic to really compare DW to, but the art was a serious wow-factor to me, dragging me back to the fandom which I hadn't been part of since I was a kid, and something that kept me there - The thing is, I'm willing to give this the benefit of the doubt, but the visuals aren't doing it any favours IMO.

Madhammer > I picked up the series when the crossover was released - I loved the concept, the art was very unique. I like gritty and all, but I was disapointed that after seeing all the neat WW2 designs that they'd been almost sprayed out, and the TF's were practically sillohuetes... Something of a shame I felt.

Might I also say that there is such a thing as telling a story. It seems like all you guys want is a TF version of Playboy.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

What does what we were saying have anything to do with wanting a TF Playboy? Just because I prefer anime-style human art don't mean I'm any more attracted to the characters than I am with the TFs. Art is just as important as the story.

And let me give you a clue about something: They're  JUST DRAWINGS. It's unbelivable  to think that because there's better human art that there's perversion involved. Is that why american art for humans is like that? Because you think you're being perverse if you draw humans better? You ppl need to get a clue.

WHOA talk about overracting. he was being soemwhat sarcastic, Lazerblast

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Sorry about that :tftongue I guess I was overreacting a little...

I collect Transformers toys. The comic is a bonus - if its good. IDW has some excellent titles. Its not beyond them to do something really good. Give it a chance and you might be rewarded.

i dont think there will be alot of tf action in issue zero. more of a glance of them at the end. issue #1 is where it should start out in ernest

all i care about is story....

Dreamwave's introduction of Spike back into the TF world was phenominal!!  ANgry at prime for the death of his dad, no longer ready to help the autobots blindly....  great stuff.  I still detest the "smart Grimlock" the DW and this fandom apparently loves :roll but the other characters were great

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

smart Grimlock = what's the friggin point

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Agreed.

"Tell Grimlock about petro-rabbits again."

As for the issue #0, it's only .99 cents and all we see on that site are the first five pages.  It's certainly worth buying.

The comic's looking good for me, they're starting it in a way that people will be able to get into TFs even if they don't have a clue about G1. The problem with the DW comics was that it only attracted fans. The way the TFs were presented here is what they were meant to be since G1: Robots in disguise, and you can see that Runabout here blends well in among the cars. I don't mind if humans take some spotlight as long as they don't get in the way of the storyline. At least they're not just some stupid kids who want to jump into an intergalactic war.

I for one will buy the preview issue, it's friggin' cheap after all. And to those who won't give it a chance, whatever man, it's your opinion. Just hope you won't regret anything if this comic turns out to be very good.

I for one don't miss DW, all I want to see is Transformers comics back on the comic shelves. The art looks fine to me but I'd still buy it if it wasn't.

I'm excited...  :thumb

im going to buy at least 4or5 of this comic and 2 of every consecutive issue. This could be our last chance for a mainstream tf comic. Im not going to let it die again!

simply put- if the storyline doesnt link to the dreamwave universe tehn i wont bother buying it. im not one to usually complain about different eralities but what i really wanted, above all else, was at least ONE reality atht was stable enough so taht i could look at all the others and appreciate them as alternate if you know what i mean.

i guess thats never going to happen.

and until it does , any comic or tv show can go biologically replicate with itself for all i care. not single penny will come from me.

as we say in japan:
