IDW Transformers: Inflitration #0 Preview

Recommended Posts

A big thumbs down for me.  :tdown  :tdown  :tdown

While I cannot agree with how Dreamwave ran their business or even ended their business... one thing that I am sure of is that they can draw one heck of a Transformer and write a plausible storyline to go along with it.

This new series looked like crap from the preview covers, and it looks even more like crap now.  :tfpuke

I have EVERY SINGLE issue of the prior Dreamwave series, and spent a lot of money in the process. Unless this new company straightens up, they won't get a penny from me.

And coming from an obsessive / compulsive completist like myself, that says a lot.  :wave

How can something be straight out right judged before it's even witness in it's full entirety? All we have is 5 pages. We still don't know the plot, we have some characters but we dont even know if they're even gonna be the primary characters or just the people introducing things to us. I mean come on. I hate it when people dont even give things a chance. they just see one thing and are like "Oh it sucks, granted I can tell you nothing about it but it sucks non the less"

Im going on the wierd, disproportionate and wooden art that we ahve been shown so far, DW was far from perfect but the fan art I have seen on this site is far superior in most respects

Might I also say that there is such a thing as telling a story. It seems like all you guys want is a TF version of Playboy.

all i care about is story....

Dreamwave's introduction of Spike back into the TF world was phenominal!!  ANgry at prime for the death of his dad, no longer ready to help the autobots blindly....  great stuff.  I still detest the "smart Grimlock" the DW and this fandom apparently loves :roll but the other characters were great

smart Grimlock = what's the friggin point

I like smart grimlock. I hate it when a strong character is a clumsy Tard Powerglide up

:tflaugh I'm not saying that Grimlock has to be totally retarded or anthing.

I just look at it like an RPG: you've got so many points to work with, and you can assign them as you want -- make someone strong, or smart, or perceptive, or skilled, etc. etc. But you can't have everything. When I think of Grimlock, the first thing that comes to mind is brute strength, and a lot of it. He's a powerful attacker and is heavily armored as well. Those are his strengths, so I don't see the need to also make him intelligent (as in, leadership-quality strategic thinking intelligent). I mean heck, he turns into a friggin' dinosaur....

Im not looking for him to be to be working side by side in the lab with Wheeljack but no more "Why boy hit noes?" "Machine stupid *smash*" or "Me read on first grade level. Me genious!"

"Sludge say, you genious too! Sludge Dumb ass, I think. What ass is?"
