I don't know why that wasn't apparent to anyone else. Hell, I knew it when I bought the original back when I was 14! Downshift and Towline will be the first deluxe figs of wave 4 that I purchase. I LOVE the fact that Energon is full of nods to G1 characters. I'm now of the opinion that Energon is overall already the second best line of transformers behind G1. Can't WAIT for Shockblast and Omega Supreme! :luv

Has anyone noticed that Towline's colors are remincent of G1 Skids?

And the thing with Towline, I think if you attach some one OTHER than Rodimus to it as a torso (IE Prowl or maybe Inferno) you'll get a nice centaur looking thing. I like the idea that they are exploreing other shapes for the robots, plus the blatant G1 refrence is neat too. They made a mistake showing rodimus attached to it because well... Rodimus's shirt mode, as people call it,...sucks. I love my Rodimus to peices (not literaly ofcorse) but I hardly ever use him as a torso because of brickness of it.

Looks to me like that battle tank can be left with 4 wheels, instead of that unstable looking front track underneath the torso. That would work much better, i think. Plus they shoulda showed it Powerlinxed to Towline, not Roddy. But youre right, different isnt always good, but trying new things is. I like to see imaginations at work.
