Yes.  I've seen pics of them in gray/silver, and at the very least isn't beyond the question to be painted such after-market.

Oh, absolutely. As we all know the greatest Transformers-related heresy is a gaudy or unrealistic coloration. Followed immediately by suggesting that G1 was 'kid-friendly' (as we all know the toyline was horrible failure and nobody under 15 was interested in the cartoon).

I'm pretty sure it is 1:24.  The unpainted pics looked like an inexpensive Maisto 1:24 kit I've seen and the vehicle mode pics on Transtopia show it's pretty much the right size with other Alts for an H1.
