after seeing chromia's portrayal in GF, this might not translate well to her Cybertron counterpart. can you imagine any american boy who would buy chromia after seeing her running around on tv with pink hearts and Blot? unfortunately, i don't think hasbro would have the common sense to blame the cartoon portrayal and would just dump the whole thing on her being a fembot.

I wish they would have more fem bots... I need to have some TFs that my daughter will like when she gets older...

i like her shes cool in the show nice toy what is thier to hate about her

Hey if kids hated hearts and stuff then they wouldn't love anime so darn much

With the big flippin missile launcher, youd think shed be more like Black Arachnia.

A fembot with an attitude and BFG (Big Freaking Gun).

I just hope Hasbro won't not release her.  From what I hear, she's going to be called something like Thunderblast?

Thundercrackers long lost sister? from the greatest farting competitions the galaxy has ever known!

Funny enough, Takara always wonders why female characters never appeal and sell to boys either.

Poor Chromia, she's a female character AND a Destron(the other kind of Transformer that Takara thinks sell poorly).  I think any profit she makes will bowl over Takara's market research team.

that's probably what Hasbro intended but i think Gonzo had other plans.

Considering the first wave of minicon two packs has a character named Thunderblast, I'd suspect Chromia will be getting a new name (Remember Wing Saber's original US name was going to be Superion Maximus, and earlier Master Collector reported Live Convoy's name to be Overcast, and has since changed to EVAC)

I personally don't think how Chromia is portrayed will have any significant impact on her toy sales here.  The simple fact she is a female has piqued interest from both fans and scalpers.

Personally, I hold hope Hasbro will have a more interesting bio written than what the cartoon will portray.
