Prowl way back in 1984. I was 13.

Mine was perceptor, Reflector, and Optimus Prime, got them in my easter basket, however at the time I was about to turn 6, and well I didnt know Blot for transforming them they just looked cool , & I had asked the easter bunny for them!! My mom said she bought them at Sears I think? She did some part time work there, as the sales analysit back in 84-85! boy was I lucky!!

A long time ago when Beast Wars was popular, I had a TF that changes into a Polar Bear. I forgot the name of it though. I no longer have it and I'm not sure what happened to it. I think I gave it away, I'm not sure.

 

My love for TF was later renewed when Armada came out.

G1 Prowl.

I received Prowl for Christmas in 1985. The exteneded family celebrated early, so I might have recieved another on actual Christmas Day.

 

Of course, I had some knock offs before I had Prowl. I remember getting it at K-Mart

back in '84 i had to split a cassett two pack w/my brother

my mom got us the clasic/infamous......rumble/ravage 2-pak

u kno the one....this was to be the start of a long trend that showed just how lazy Hasbro really is........

 

the package clearly shows ravage and rumble but the markings have it listed as ravage/frenzy****gggrrrrrrr****FRENZY IS NOT RED :tfmad

to this day to think of this type of error really steams me

I think my personal first TF, might have been Astrotrain, cuz I did have a huge train obsession when I was 5
