This would be a straight repaint for an enterprising kitbasher. The mold and headsculpt could have been made just for this repaint. That's how close they are to Shrapnel's G1 self.

I'm dying to see an Alt Insecticon...anybody wanna try it?

Hmm that is pretty wild looking.  I think I'd use a Ravage body as the base, with Swerve's Head....  Maybe I'll give this a try someday...  I actually have a set of white Tracks hands and thighs from a prototype...  I'd just need another Ravage and Swerve...  If by some strange happening Swerve becomes pretty commonplace, or KCC does a repro of it I'll give it a shot.

Very cool! I've thought of doing a VW Beetle in Insecticon colors. I think this Shrapnel is better than 10 Swerves!

Other than in NAME, Swerve just doesn't Belong in ALTERNATORS.  SOOO Many More Popular/more Appropriate Characters they Should have ReIncarnated 1st.

-Here's the Real 'Kicker': If they were Trying to make up for their Botched Handling /Poor Distribution of Alt. TRACKS -They could have just Released HIM with the FlameSticker (at least we could Justify $40 for That....)

I actually have an insecticon planned for the future. But I must say....that is REALLY dead on for shrapnel. If I EVER get a double Swerver (or a single for that matter) I'll make sure to try it out.

That's fantastic, you would know who it was straight-away! Well done!

Excellent idea! I am going to be ripping apart a swerve and ravage starting tonight.

i saved it for future bashing.

Ahh, any transformer they (Hasbro) wants to make an Alternator out of is fine. Should or Shouldn't isn't approaching the subject with the right frame of mind-  They're all well done toys, so enjoy that aspect.

Me personally, I'd like to see more obscure characters-  preferably with more commonplace car models (neons, Corrola, Saturns etc...)

And since I'm on a roll here, I'd also really like to see a set of Alternator Clones, that have the same alt mode, but transsform into 2 different looking robots.  And a Ferrari Spider that turns into Tarantulas.

that's really cool looking... great idea.
