the problem with PRIMUS

From what I've seen of the Primus render I WILL LOVE this toy!

The problem is that as we all know, Unicron did not sell well.

So I doubt Hasbro would make another Transformer that Transforms into a planet. I mean it is a huge robot and "all" it does is Transform into a planet. To a parent that looks rather cheap.

If a Primus toy is being made it will be a remold of Unicron. They will probably remold almost everything but it will Transform in the same way. I think.

Would be cool to have though it is a bit silly next to Fortress Maximus.  :tflaugh

in my area he sold tons, they just overproduced.

thats right. unicron actuaally sold extremely well. the reason there was so many was the fact that hasbro over saturated the market.they produced to many believing that more people would want him even non-collectors. they will make primus but not as large a quantity and if they have any brains wont just repaint unicron wiith a new head

Yeah I don't know about the rest of the net, but I am awaiting this next planetformer. I think this'll sell better than Unicron simply because it has cannons and guns as opposed to spikes and more spikes (with the exception of the one missile in the chest), so I'll pick up the Japanese release.

I think the idea of a Primus toy is great! As long as it isn't too similar to Unicron, I think that would be an awesome pair to have next to each other. The final apocolyptic battle...right in my bedroom! Oh well...we can only hope.

I'm not really clear on what Hasbro is saying about talking about Primus though...

i say nuts to what hasbro thinks as its not there place to limit free speech. as long as we talk about the primus figure and don't post public links to the picture art or to websites that lead to it i dont see any problem about us talking about it unless hasbro intends to alienate the fans.
