I dont think he's a brick, he my not be the most articulated figure but it not like he's wingsaber.

all he is missing is waist, wrist, and outward shoulder.

You're all just a bunch of spoiled fans crying over nothing.

Quoted like the truth it is.

True, Wing Saber is a brick too but he backed that up with a two way combo with Optimus Prime.

And Scourge looks very cool (despite being orange) and that is a big plug. I rather have a cool looking toy than a badly looking one with lots of articulation.

The designers are slipping a bit. Either a figure has cool articulation but looks bad or has awful colors or a figure looks great but lacks posability.

Starscream and Hot Shot lack posability a bit but Megatron (who apparantly has it) looks awful.

Optimus Prime is an exception. Lots of articulation, cool gimmicks and posability.  :thumb

i'll have to check it out i still want scourge cause i like dragons i may beable to come up with some ideas to fix those shoulders cause i fixed my dirtboss to have a little more leg articulation but its was probaly cause he was missasembled

The thing to remember is that regardless of your views, he -is- a beast, and a hydra/dragon at tht. How many dragons have we had in the modern history of TF? Gigatron? BM Megs 2? In reality, he's very well done in beast mode... and yes, while the wrist articulation was an oversight, that's about the only one that really stands out as an issue. The waist couldn't be done due to the transformation.

I still think he is an asskicker... I just wish he could hold his blade 2-handed style.

Liger Jack is a brick too.

not quite, he just has very badly designed joints and limbs (shorter lower legs than the uppe legs..., the weirdest arm and shoulder jointsI have ever seen, placing them on balljoints or something similar to RiD Prime would be a lot more effective)

While I would not go as far as to say he was a brick, his arms are highly disappointing.  It's a shame they could make such an awesome looking beastformer and have him lacking in any way.  You would think that by now they could have figured a way to get full poseablility in the arms, even without the use of ball joints (which I wish they would use a little more than they are nowadays).  He loses points for not being able to pose in every single way humanly possible, but he can still get into some pretty impressive looking poses.  He is definitely worth the price I paid for him.

Every line has a "brick".  Heck, Beast Machines, the super posable line of doom gave birth to Blastcharge with a whopping SIX points of articulation on a Deluxe.  And even if he doesn't have knees or proper hips, he's still a kick-ass toy(and his Universe packaging didn't have a single twistie tie...wiggy).

Now, if you want to call something a brick, say G1 Hound, or G1 Broadside, or even Universe Whirl.  But Scourge?  Don't go crying the second a toy doesn't have ball joints.

there is nothing wrong with universe whirl, bear in mind that toy was originally made in 1991, for a brick he had quite a bit of articulation, his legs can actually be moved seperately to have the impression of him running for instance

to say that he has the same articulation as those at the start of the line is wrong

Heh, looks more like he's trying to sneak up on Scooby and the gang.

But that Grimlock repaint of TM Megs is very nice.  :tfevil

Or rather on closer inspection, Armada Predacon :tftongue
