Okay, I checked, I didn't see any threads on this specifically.

 

With SDCC here, and all we have at the moment being pics, I was wondering if anyone had any details on these guys.

 

First and foremost: Are they sized properly? I know Vector Prime is a Voyager, nd Starscream should've been.. But the box itself (see TFormers.com, I don't know if it is kosher to link to them) is labeled Voyager class... This is a big factor as to whether or not I return my Supreme Starscream (yes, I'm still in the air about it, although he's growing on me, fast).  You know, looking at the keys, it almost looks like they are both the "proper" size.. but they might have scaled those.

 

Secondly: Paint Schemes. Starscream's getting a unique color scheme, from what people on the TFormers.com comments list (which, for some reason, I can't subscribe to due to weird issues with my e-mail), but what about Vector Prime? Despite him being my 2nd favorite character in Galaxy Force, I steadfastly refuse to buy him in Cybertron due to how shoddily his paint apps turned out.. So if the Vs. pack uses the same color scheme, it'd be a much harder purchase..

 

Finally: Taking this all into consideration, as well as the fact that they are TRU exclusives... What do you forsee the price point being set at? And given any issues and such... would you pay that much? I think I can see TRU Selling it for $35-40, but  I'd be hard pressed to buy it at anything more than $30.. Assuming, of course, they are full sized.

 

Edit for stupidity: I guess Is hould've looked at the pic closer, or scrolled down or something. The name/pricetag lists it at $30, and the box references that it needs 2x AAA batteries... so it is going to be a pair of full-sized Voyagers... Which, if you think about it, is a good price. I'd pay $20 for Starscream in a heartbeat, and $10 for a US-painted VP (I hope it isn't, but yeah) isn't horrible. Waiting till october might be, though... but then again, it may releive some of the shock on my wallet from this launch. =)

I paid more for the Galaxy Force versions... and now I'm glad I did. Not a fan of the new Screamer deco. I like the white on VP but the lack of paint apps really kills it for me.

 

I'd rush to the store for Skywarp and Thundercracker decos though.

I don't mind the new Starscream paint, but why oh why is Hasbro sticking with the absolutely ugly white on VP?  He's the one I was looking forward to out of this line and now I'm forced to buy the GF version.

Pfft... Transformers are so overpriced in Australia that getting the gf versions imported come out about even.

 

Oh, that's completely off topic.... but I'd thought I'd mentiion it anyway. Get the GF counterparts, they're fantastic.

I'm surprized that quite a few of you like this 2-pack, to me i rather Dislike Screamers new 'Thrustesque' colour scheme, why hasbro didn't leave it god knows. And Vector Prime.!? I was expecting is terrific Galaxy Force colours and hes just the same as Hasbro's :redface

Inverted.  Predominantly a Thrust-esque dark red, and silver paint where there was red paint.

I'm In New York City, and I've seen all the Current Transformers Cybertron figures in the Times Square Toys R Us.

 

The Starscream they have is masterpiece size and its going for $54.99

the problem I have with this is that its not as articulate as the MP figures nor as articulate as Unicron was.  For the toy to be that size I would have liked the hands to open at least.  For gods sake give it fingers.

 

I then saw Optimus as well as Megatron and and a few other figures.  They are all the same size.  Each is $43.99  Granted they have the electronic sounds and light up (whatever),  I for one can't afford these guys.  I would have to buy them one at a time.  The sad part is that Toys R Us is slow on their shipments so if you miss it you got to wait awhile.

 

The problem to that I have with optimus is that when you link him to his trailer he is not all that big.  all that stuff added on and he only gains like maybe an inch or two over the rest of the Transformers.

 

and wassup with thundercracker having that long ass arm

its ugly I rather keep it in jet mode.

 

 

Anyways I feel that the line has some good transformations and that they look better than some of the universe and energon transformations but the pricing is rediculous for what they offer.

yeah, the paint aps for starscream sumhow remind me of primal prime. Either way i have to get it. i really would like to see skywarp and thundercracker repaints for this figure.

i like it. weve now got all the seekers redone. i ill have to get the pack just for thrust. but will still have to get gf vp
