I'm thinkin Lazerbeak forms an engine when Soundwaves in alt mode and just stores in his chest while in bot mode. The chest cavity seems to follow the same shape as Lazerbeaks cylindrical octagon form. The chest also looks big enough to fit two in there, possibly. Seems to be another engine still present on Soundwave while LB's in bird form. Is it possible that Buzzsaw will also be included?

 

 

Reguardless, this figure is a must have.

BUT, you believe him to be a bomb, I say an engine. You can see him attached to the underside of the wing as well as another on the right.

 

I think the only reson for LB or other accessory bots being stored in the chest is a gimmick to connect him to G1 and nothing more.

 

In G1, Lazerbeak, Rumble, Ravage, etc. remained in Soundwave until called upon. Kinda like on-hand reinforcements. They'll probably do the same here and use the chest cavity in the same manner.

i think that the engines are his guns they seem too funny shaped to be LBEAK!

 

whos to say that it isnt tho the NIGHTHAWK DOES DROP BOMBS!! like the RAPTOR they may say FIGHTER PLANE but what they mean is FAST AS FCUK BOMBER!!

actually, it seems soundwave comes with two guns and each folds up into an engine. it does seem more likely that laserbeak folds up and is stored in the chest.

well i disagree with you -

i think LB stores in his chest - maybe as a bomb - maybe as a drone

but the two engines on his wings are guns thay maybe held and one may attach to the sholder.

its also possible that the octoganal sape of his ches cavity suggests that the engines and LB are interchangable among the four spots (wings/chest/hand/shoulder) :tflaugh

Thats the way I see it

but the intention of my last post - other than to tease Blitz a little - was that it seems we now have 3 octagonals and only two engines in Alt mode

 

so my new question is - are all three interchangeable when in engine/chest mode??
