Im gonna keep the current Hotshot on display and get the other 2 upgrades and leave their current forms on the shelf.

I personally like that Red Alter's Upgrade is larger than a Deluxe, we need more big military vehicles.

I mean take a look at what Armada and Energon offered as large land based military vehicles, there was Megatron/Galavtron who was a tank-esque, and that was pretty much it. Energon did have Bruticus Maximus, but the stand alone vehicles were really small, and the team leader was just a baisic. Then there was Tankor who was really just an over glorified deluxes and Strika and Blast Charge, and the tank drones were really small.

no longer getting the Hot shot upgrade.  Chromia is still cool.  Backpack is awesome after the upgrade and Red alert's upgrade looks silly with the white paint.

maybe when exillion was getting upgraded he was like "no... am slower now... cant get bigger... will..be...more...slow... must ressiissst..."

For all of you saying Exillion got smaller, look at Exillion before he became Exigeyser. His legs are going straight up. Now look at his upgrade. Out to the sides. If they were straight up, methink's they'll be roughly the same size.

Excilion upgraded and SHRUNK??!  :eek

I personally hope so... o_o

So to recap. Hot Shot is upgraded to, well a deluxe, Red alert is now a Voyager, and Scattershot is a freaking Ultra. After the first protos were shown I had just assumed everyone but Scattershot would remain in Deluxe class.  Along with Scattershot there's also that jet thing that combines with Optimus and IMO I can't see that being any smaller than an Ultra. Damn. This line is getting insanely uber expensive. :redface

On topic the upgrades look to be cooler than anything we've yet seen in either GF/C with the only exception being Soundwave. Hotshot may be a mite shorter but he sill looks amazing in both modes, especially with all of the upgraded weaponry. Hopefully with this upgrade Has/Tak will have finally worked out the leg articulation a bit better.  Red alert would've kicked ass as a Deluxe but as a Voyager he seems a bit big for that mold, but in any case the scud launcher looks incredible in either mold, just hope it's not too top heavy. Scattershot looks interesting. The bot mode like the rest looks incredible but I'm not too sure what the alt is supposed to be. Looks cool either way. Chromia though I'm not too impressed I'm still convinced this is a Basic. It's looks way to simplistic for it to be anything bigger. The rocket arm is cool, but other than that and a cool alt mode I'm going to wait until Remy has pics up before I decide anything. :thumb

Takara website says-

Exigeyser-Deluxe

Back Gild-Voyager

First Gunner-Ultra

Chromia-deluxe

Hope that helps.

Oops. I had Fast Gunner, and Back Gild mixed up. Considering what I've seen in Cybertron there really isn't a huge difference in size between Voyager and Ultra. Both Cybertron Jetfire, and Vector Prime are about the same length in alt mode and Jetfire really isn't much taller in bot mode. This being my argument I wonder if it's going to be roughly the same between Fast Gunner, and back Gild. Slightly off topic what class size is the upcoming Demolishor/Mudflap. I'm betting on voyager class.

Reguarding Chomia, okay she's a deluxe I won't argue it anymore. Initially I had figured she'd be the basic, and that upcoming motorcycle would be the deluxe. I know for absolute certain that that the upcoming Rumber drones are scout class, but I'm not to sure about this upcoming motorcycle.
