I was hoping that hotshot would be bigger as well...

But considering that the upgraded vanguard team is going to cost 60 in todal($20 Voyager, $30 Ultra, $10 Deluxe) it could have been 70 or 80 bucks of Hotshot was bigger. The inital Price of the original Vanguard team is about 25-30 bucks...

So it's pretty much double the price for the upgraded.

At first I thought they were all going to be megas/voyager and that would have been cool. But then I saw that First Gunner was an Ultra and said "they are probably all going to be two size classes larger". Then I saw that Exigeyser was a deluxe and my head asploded.

I'm never going to get used to calling it voyager class  :redface

So to recap. Hot Shot is upgraded to, well a deluxe, Red alert is now a Voyager, and Scattershot is a freaking Ultra. After the first protos were shown I had just assumed everyone but Scattershot would remain in Deluxe class.  Along with Scattershot there's also that jet thing that combines with Optimus and IMO I can't see that being any smaller than an Ultra. Damn. This line is getting insanely uber expensive. :redface

On topic the upgrades look to be cooler than anything we've yet seen in either GF/C with the only exception being Soundwave. Hotshot may be a mite shorter but he sill looks amazing in both modes, especially with all of the upgraded weaponry. Hopefully with this upgrade Has/Tak will have finally worked out the leg articulation a bit better.  Red alert would've kicked ass as a Deluxe but as a Voyager he seems a bit big for that mold, but in any case the scud launcher looks incredible in either mold, just hope it's not too top heavy. Scattershot looks interesting. The bot mode like the rest looks incredible but I'm not too sure what the alt is supposed to be. Looks cool either way. Chromia though I'm not too impressed I'm still convinced this is a Basic. It's looks way to simplistic for it to be anything bigger. The rocket arm is cool, but other than that and a cool alt mode I'm going to wait until Remy has pics up before I decide anything. :thumb

such a funny pose Chromia has in her shell XD

Notice how Arcee transforms into her bike mode ;)
