Alternator head campaign

Recommended Posts

Hey, Transrepro has a new alternator wheel jack head.  For all the rest of us customizers I would really like to have some other heads, especially a Dead End head (to make a police car Sunstreaker or something.)

Would anyone be interested in pooling funds to have molds made of certain parts and what not?

Is there no interest in any other heads for the Alt's/BT's?

I'd certainly but a couple of them, likely Meister's, Track's, and possibly Prowl's Decepticharge's, and a few others.  They're almost essential for repainting when you want a different head to go with the new colors.

yeah, meister would be a great head to make.

I'd like to see a Tracks head w/mask, or show/toy-accurate Dead End or Swindle heads.  An extra D-charge head might be nice to have floating around, too.

Ok, at least I got some response.  I emailed TransRepro to find out just how much it costs to make the mold for each head.  They usually say something like they want 2 heads to make the molds, so its 2 at a time, especially in case parts do not come out.

I have a bunch of Alts and as long as I get the heads back, and some backing I'll lend them to KCC to have more made.

Tracks would be rather easy to retool the face and make it look like the G1 version, can then take that and have KCC remold it.  (they have a custom G1 Tracks head for Sideburn, and prowl)

Also working on a windshield campaign.  I mean how many junker TF's are there out there who just need a windshield to make them look 1/2 decent and totally good for custom jobs?

I have in mind to send em Prowl's windshield and especially the lights (Cost me $12 so far just to buy the base toy from TRU) and maybe Sunstreaker.  They have Wheeljack thanks to SOMEONE who had the great idea to repro the ellusive Marlboor head and then the accessories to have painted clear blue.

What else do ya wanna see?

Rumble head to go along with laser beak?

Anyone care to donate a New Japanese remake of Screamer with the custom megatron and fists?

We need Alt heads!  Any and all!  :D
