I've never really seen this topic brought up before so here goes.

 

What ages would you guess various transformers are in human years? In other words, by their looks, voices, attitudes, etc. how old would you say they would be if human?

 

Someone like Kup, for instance, I say would be around 60. :P

well if we are not going by the fact that some of these dudes are thousands of years old, and instead putting them into human related years:

 

Optimus Prime: 40-45

Ultra Magnus: 40-45

Kup: 60-65

Sideswipe/Red alert: 25-28

Sunstreaker: 20-25

Wheelie: 10-15

Hot Rod: 20

All the other main cars: 25-35

Bumblebee: 30

Perceptor: 25

Jetfire: 30-35

Blaster: 20-23

Wreck Gar: 50-55

Dinobots: ???

Inferno/Grapple: 30

Megatron: 45-50

Soundwave: ???? maybe very very old, I always thought he was

Starscream/seekers: 25-30

Shockwave: 35-40

Insecticons: 18-25

Large Insecticons: 25

Constructicons: 20-25???

Well, cant forget about Rumble/Frenzy, they both are about 20, and Soundwave? Probably between 30-9000000...

Anyways, I think ErikB's list seem quite accurate. Though I'd think Starscream would be older than the rest of the seekers and Autobot Cars. And Meg's in my book is older than Prime.

i can pritty much agree but IMO bumblebee should be the youngist autobot pre movie IMO maybe 18ish maybe side swipe and sunstreaker should be closer

No, I think HotRod should be one of the yougest.  Younger than Bumble Bee.

I just thought that BB acted more mature than HR

As, the show was shown sometime in the 80's... (when exactly, I can't remember? 84? 85? 86?) and the Dinobots were constructed on earth... and it's now 2005...

 

We can then safely say the Dinobots are about 15-20 years of age.  :thumb

I always had Kup as real old, 75 or so. Then Ironhide in his 60's, then Megatron at 50, Prime at 45,  and so on until you had people like Hot Rod and Springer and Arcee in the 17-24 bracket.

 

Oh, and let's not forget Alpha Trion, hitting it anywhere from 90 to 130.
