My guess is a PVC female figure, that may or may not even be poseable. 

I'm positive this is what the female figures will be, at 1:24th scale a 5 foot tall female is 2.5 inches tall.

 

In other words, something to throw away.

Skids vs Ironhide:  I just don't care.  Keep making great toys and I'll buy them what ever they are called, just don't design them to be one thing and then blatently change it to something else (dead end vs sunstreaker).  Give them the right G1 homage head. 

 

Sundstreaker sounds great as a viper.  I can't wait.  Its fine with me if it's EXACTLY the same as dead end but yellow and with autobot symbols.  But then, please, no more vipers.

 

The Prowl not a WRX debacle:  The more I hear about the Prowl RSX and now red alert as a WRX (with roof lights I assume), the more I'm just baffled.  WTF???  I don't mind if most of the cars that shared the same mold are different (sideswipe with his different tranfomation scheme is fine with me), but the WRX is just so perfect for prowl.  The one arguement that made sense was we were overrun with WRXs, but now they are making a new WRX and it appears to be an emergency vehical at that.  Prowl should have been a WRX if you were building more WRXs, end of story. 

What makes this even more bizarre is that, Red alert would be great as an RSX, particularly with that tranformation scheme.  Again WTF.

Feel exactly the same way about how they handled these molds. It does not make sense.  May just get both and switch heads if they look different. Was going to skip Prowl but now I wiil get him just to make the switch.

I'm glad to see we are getting new stuff from takara, The sunstreaker is what I've been waiting for.

I CANT WAIT!  Once I get Prowl and alert, I think that they with the other WRX'S will make an awesome looking little subgroup wilt PROWL as commander...lol.  Now where's my INFERNO?? :thumb

 

EDIT:  A little surprised that REDalert didn't come in the DEADEND mold but who am I to complain...thats for another forum. :tftongue

Just to clear some potential confusion that may be occuring:  even though the new WRX is called "alert," he's going to be a police car and not a "Red alert"-esque fire chief car.  (Depending on which Perfecture they chose, he may even have a paint job very similar to Prowl's).  We still might see a RSX/Integra repaint as the official "Red alert" at some point.

oh wait, the bots are male but they come with female drivers.
