Confess your transformers related sins

Recommended Posts

Hmm, many sins but transformer related:

1.  When I was a kid, I'd be at a walmart with my mom and I'd open the packages and steal accessories to like the pretender monsters.

2.  I stole some cds, took them back to target and exchanged them for armada unicron, I'd always wanted a unicron and couldnt stand to wait any longer, I think 16 years was quite a while.

3.  I stole some cds, took them back to wally world and exchanged them for my 20th anniversary prime.

4.  I bought a 2nd 20th ann. prime and took his head and matrix and then returned him saying that he must have been defective.

Oh please forgive me, as punishment, I have been ripped off on ebay numerous times and some teens plowed into my old car.

When I was a kid, Walmart wasn't invented yet. But I would go to Gold Circle to buy TFs.

This thread makes baby Jesus cry, :redface

I went into Walmart to buy a $20 Energon Landmine for the INH grab bag but was only charged $10. I didn't think anything of it but when I went to mail it out it overall cost me a total of $40.00 to both buy and mail out so either way it cost me in the end.

Not much else retail wise but collecting wise.  :eek

I really like the Armada Hotshot mold and have both variations.

Energon Demolishor is easily my favorite Decepticon deluxe.

I really like clear molded parts as on Energon Megatron, and Scorponok.

And my biggest sin to date reguarding collecting.

I'd sooner collect the Armada/Energon/Cybertron toys over the alts. :inheek

I remember in first grade we had some bins of toys in the classroom for indoor recess (when the weather sucked). Among them were Soundwave and a few cassettes. I remember stealing one every day for a few weeks. No one ever noticed or said anything, but I felt guilty for years.

Sometimes I lie to my significant other about how much I paid for a given TF (or I just pretend I got it from a trade). She hates it when I buy TFs, especially when they cost more than 30$... :(

errr.... same here unafraid... AND i own both energon prowl and ironhide.

Well... 80% of my Beast Wars tfs are missing two to 10 parts on them including limbs and accessories  :tdown  (that's what you get when you mix tfs with ball joints and a kid who has a nak for taking things apart... for fun).

Another one was when I bought a crummy Hero Optimus Prime who had no accessories, a broken knee, and a lower leg was missing in middle school  :tdown .

There's proabily more, but i can't remember them right now.

Never stole anything for which I am quite happy now.  :clap Allthough one time I did relabel a Transformer which a cheaper price tag.  :tfsad

It was just such a cool Transformer. Good thing I now have money and can buy all I want.  :tfgrin

I did pass up on a Motorvator (European release of a Brainmaster) to purchase Waverider. What the **** was I thinking?  :eek

I did purchase him and his 2 companions on eBay later.

And I am not going to let my young nephew touch my Transformers but that is perfectly normal. :tflaugh

I have to do the same thing with my parents too. They'll probably freak out if I tell them that the plastic toy I just bought costs an equivalent of $30-50. It's a good thing that they can't complain as much now since I'm working and making my own toy money.

Some of my TFs were from the "black market" meaning they were stolen from someone and I bought them. Including: Jetfire, Shockwave and Onslaught. I also got a Sony Sports walkman this way but it ended up going through 2 other people before it got to me. This was back in 1994.
