I passed up buying an Alt Shockwave for a Universe Whirl...

had a friend at walmart who used to reprice all the items for me

i stole a alt smoke to kit bash, but wound up just throwing it away, but i kept his weapon and mine dual weilds now too, oh wait i stole both smokes that i had own (still have one) blame my tru they have no secruity, i've thought about getting them for their g1 meister repaint, his name escapes me at this present moment

I have sinned...today i bought a second Go Bot tray puzzle, why? at the top, where it should have a place to hang on a peg was unpunched....please forgive me ....

I have all variants of Armada Sideswipe. The original Armada, the Oil Slick and Treadshot repaints, as well as the Runabout remold from GF.

Well this is a humorous and at the same time sad thread.  But for my part,...my sins are a bit worse, but older and already forgiven.

 

You see, I was 11 when Transformers first appeared on the scene in 1984.  It just so happened that at the time my parents were going through a divorce.  Being a kid full of angst and having a single mom who had no money for the three kids she was now supporting, it was very hard for me to get Transformers the natural way.

 

I honestly don't know how I got started.  This was a long time ago, but I began to steal Transformers because I wanted them so bad.  There was a K-Mart that was a short bike ride away from our home and I would go in and go to the toy section.  I'd grab a bot that I wanted and walk over to the clothing section.  Calling out to my mother asking her if she'd buy it for me(Teh ruse), I'd wait until no one was around the particular clothing rack I chose and then I'd duck underneath it.(Teh subterfuge).  Ripping apart the package, I'd place the bot in my coat and wait til the coast was clear and then emerge from my dark ritualistic alcove.(Teh crime)  I say ritualistic, because at one point I can remember at least a dozen or so boxes piled underneath this clothing rack before someone discovered and removed them.

 

When I went back and found that someone had found the boxes, I figured it was too risky to go back there for awhile, so I moved to a store called "White Mart" that was about a mile away.  By this time a friend of mine had caught on and wanted in.  I agreed to help "teach" him my ways(Teh dark side).  That was my downfall.  On his second trip back to White Mart with me, he didn't listen to me and just stuck his hands in the clothing rack and ripped open a package.  An employee came wheeling around the rack and grabbed him and I and we were busted.(Teh end of a crime spree)  The cops came to pick us up and I was a balling pile of scared sh*tless.

 

I received 10 hours of community service ....with the pastor of my church no less, and the embarrassment and lesson hit home.

 

I am now 32, still collecting Transformers and haven't stole, payed a mistaken price, or returned something for more than I spent since.  Not because I'm afraid someone will catch me, but because I want to have integrity as an individual.

 

The only sin I could now possibly be accused of, is not letting my 6 year old play with my displayed figures.  When he looks at me with those sad eyes I feel like the most selfish b@st@rd in the world.  Please forgive me buddy.

Yea.... I bought a used TF thermos on ebay... and used bed sheets. Now where are those underoos?  :puke

Hmm, many sins but transformer related:

 

1.  When I was a kid, I'd be at a walmart with my mom and I'd open the packages and steal accessories to like the pretender monsters.

 

2.  I stole some cds, took them back to target and exchanged them for armada unicron, I'd always wanted a unicron and couldnt stand to wait any longer, I think 16 years was quite a while.

 

3.  I stole some cds, took them back to wally world and exchanged them for my 20th anniversary prime.

 

4.  I bought a 2nd 20th ann. prime and took his head and matrix and then returned him saying that he must have been defective.

 

Oh please forgive me, as punishment, I have been ripped off on ebay numerous times and some teens plowed into my old car.
