Question for the anti misb pepoe

Recommended Posts

i had this argument with my gf earlier today when she wanted to throw away the boxes to my alts.. she wanted to toss the box of laserwaveshockblaster and i said no because of resale value.. then she replies 'well i have no plans of selling MY purple (laserwaveshockblaster)... so i leave u collectors with this question.

For the anti misb pepoe, where do you keep the boxes? are they thrown away? are they neatly folded n stashed with the instructions/booklets? alot of the other transformers come on cards.. so are the bubbles scrapped too and the cards kept?

what did she end up doing? she kept the box. god bless her soul  :clap

I stack the boxes in a closet, but I'm running out of room. I used to keep the bubbles on the cards, but I cut them all off to save room several months ago.

I used to be real big on keeping the boxes.. I had a MaxB from Japan that I never opened (won it on a contest on botcollector.com)...

I keep some boxes.. have the boxes to my BT Blue Tracks... kept my alt boxes since I've moved... I usually just throw them in a closet...

I don't know why.. my collection is for me and the kids I don't have yet.. not for sale :-P

just my 2 cents

I keep boxes, cards, bubbles, wire ties, everything.  But only for official TFs, not kos or anything else.  I don't know why.  I don't plan to sell them, although I guess that option is always open.

I throw them away. SET THE TFS FREE MY BROTHAS AND SISTAHS!!!!

i kept every thing orriginally and stacked the packaging in my closet, then i ran out of room. now i keep every thing for the boxed figs and usually toss the bubbles oand only keep the cards for my peged figs.

I keep almost everything, they can be a big help when you are moving.

I keep the boxes, in my closet, or, when that runs out of space, I put 'em in garbage bags and put 'em in storage in my parents barn. I only have a couple bags full, as I only recently started saving the boxes.

It's the large ones I'm most concerned with, the small card ones, I keep, but wouldn't freak as much if they were lost or destroyed. And I don't open all the TF's I buy. For example, didn't open Unicron, or Omega Sentinel, and ALL my RID toys are still in box...

I keep everything when the figure isn't MISB. Luckily for me, I have a pretty large walk-in closet that I can utilize to store some of my boxes.

The only boxes I keep are for BT and G1, and aside from the cool packaging, they're also for transporation purposes. They're too fragile to just chuck into a box. I've also kept the boxes for my TRU Buildron and Paradron Medic exclusive for reasons I do not know yet.

For you guys who have a tendency to sell off your collection to free up space, or get easily bored with what you've got, it may be a good idea to keep the packaging.
