Boss Alt Grimlock anyone?

Recommended Posts

A fellow TFan posted a suggestion on anther thread about wanting a "Boss" label set for Alt Grimmy.  I discovered several different "Boss" schemes.  Just for kicks, I thought we could talk about different ideas for such a thing.  Do any of you guys have a preference/favorite?  If so, how about either posting a pic or a link to a pic of your fav "Boss" scheme here?  Just thought I would get a discussion going!

I'm not sure of anyone posting anything like that, but my Boss Mustang Grimlock is almost finished. I should have some pics up by the end of the week. As far as the decals go the only true Boss's were the 302, 351, and monsterous 429. Those are all cheap knock-offs trying to squeeze money out of the Mustang faithful. It was a kind gesture though, and they do looks really good on the car.  :thumb

You're not sure of my post?  Sorry man, but you've left me a bit confused . . .

Anyways, feel free to use this thread to post your custom of "Boss" Grimmy; I can edit the post later. :thumb

I am also scratching my head on this: if the "true" Bosses were 302, 351, and a 429, where does this leave the 2005 model, especially since those labels I posted were knock-offs?  I only provided the post as a image reference just for the record.

thanks for noticing my post on wanting boss stickers  for grimy :clap  i want them to be gold and just to say boss and go from the sides to the front

ok after looking at the stickers the faded boss stickers are the closest to what the mustang i saw looks like, but there was no fading and it wasn't striped just a solid piece

I think you ought to repaint him with the 10 PC Lemans stripes, and maybe change the head...

No seriously, I most like the boss hood stripes and the fader side stripes to the right of that.

Check my #05 Wheeljack thread and let me know what you think! :tfgrin

Maybe I can clear this up a little haha. The last Ford produced Boss Mustang was the 1971 Boss 351 that followed the 1970 Boss 429, and the 1969 Boss 302, the number indicates the motors displacement in cubic inches. I was just saying these particular decals are an aftermarket company trying to make money off the old Boss heritage. Still very good looking cars though. I made my own Boss 281 out of my 2004 Mustang GT.

I like the stripes... they look good even if they aren't "accurate" with teh motor size today.

Hey BOSS, that's a sharp stang you got there... ever thought of charging that sucker?! and I love the color.

Instead of using the running Mustang pony logos, how about using a T-Rex?
