id choose robert englund to voice him. from what i can remember of his character freddy krueger from the original nightmare on elm street he managed to give freddy's character a rather deep tone of voice at times. if he could tweak it a little he coud bring a whole new depth of character to the original megatron. at best even portray him as being the overly ambitious omnipotent ultra ubervillian for the transformers mythos especially when it comes to megatron going into a bit of an anger induced rage on the battle field.

does it realy matter who does the voice? they will alter it beyond the point of knowing who it is. As long as the person can do decent reading and voice acting, it'll be good. All be it R.E. is the bomb.

I would love David Kaye A.K.A. Beast Wars, Beast Machines Megatron.

 

He is so damn good.  He has done the hardest, most badass Megatron voice there is.  I realize though, that if Peter Cullen is going to be Optimus Prime (and he should be Prime.  He is the besat Optimus Prime voice of all time.) that Frank Welker should do Megatron. At least for all the fans of the original series and they complement each other well.  But David Kaye is hands-down the best Megatron voice ever.  Period.
