This is great news for me. THE Optimus Prime's most powerful incarnation (story-wise), and Micromaster Hot Rod!

Yea I'm finding it rather abrupt as well. But I do know the micromaster Hot Rod's been ready for quite a while now. Its bootlegs have been appearing some time ago.

$75 isn't bad for Star Convoy.  I hope this turns out to be fact.  Maybe they'll do Star Saber and Victory Leo next :thumb

Star Convoy? :wtf well... why, can't we have the Constructicons or something which isn't a brick with arms?  :tftongue Maybe  Star Sabre or the seacons.. Hasbro got the molds somehow so :D , someone which wasn't just from a comic...

Hey, Star Convoy ain't that bad at all.  Let's hope Has/tak can find more molds for others like Star saber,Deszaras, etc.

If this is true, I will gladly lay down $75 for a Star Convoy.  He is a rather unique Prime variant, if you ask me!

Star Convoy is nice to look at in robot mode, but to be honest he is one of the brickiest transformers out there.  Mostly due to his base mode.  I will be waiting for the RM version, I already sold off the one that I had, and dont need another one. 

does this mean that Star Convoy is 2005's year end special? although i was hoping for a victory saber gift set, i don't mind the opportunity to own Star Conoy, who is the most powerful incarnation of G1 Prime.

Based on rumors of a Galvatron reissue, i'd assumed the 'special' would be a show accurate version of same.

 

I'm in two minds about this one...........
