I've been thinking of doing an Alt Inferno kitbash.  I found this pic today.

Pro's: I have all the parts.

      It follows the story of Binaltech.

      IMO, It's kinda cool.

 

Con's:  It's not a fire truck.

        Do you really want to see another Jeep?

        It would be kinda small, on a G1 scale, next to the other Alts.

 

A fire truck is probably the right answer, but a 1:24 Fire Truck would most likely end up as big or bigger than MP Prime.

How about a Red alert or Hot Spot?

 

But Inferno in my opinion does sound cooler and less likely to be done as an Alternator. I say go for it!

 

 

Edit: If Ravage is made into a car, I don't see why not a firetruck into a jeep  :thumb

Agree with the Red alert idea!!

How about Siren? He was also a fire-chief but was a car, or Hosehead but he was a fire truck. You could make it Hosehead because no one really cares about him, without worrying that you just made Inferno a Jeep.  :tflaugh I will look for another one, I know I am missing something.

I like it. I think Red alert for a name would be better. But, you could still do Inferno, as a firetruck, just have it come apart in two sections. One section-Alternator. The other, maybe a "ground" mounted weapon, or even a transportation device for the Alt. Anyhow, I've seen your work, and I'm sure it will come out great!

I'm not really seeing it as Red alert.  Don't get me wrong.  It suits him just fine.  But I like the Sideswipe kitbash that most have done.  And I think the new Prowl mold would make a decent Red alert (along with my other plans for that mold  :tfgrin ).  Plus, after looking at my collection, I don't think I want another jeep.

 

 

I don't know.  I might make him.  Want to check around at more hobby shops for a fire truck first.

Prime never was the biggest bot on the block. A 1/24 fire truck would be cool!
