Ok, with only 2 days left of teaching, I'm about to come upon something that I haven't for the past 7 years. A summer with no job. HELL YEAH! So, normally I just do repaints, unless you count switching and/or adding heads constitute bashing. So, For my first official bash, my summer project is going to be an Evil Ironhide with an Alt mode of my black Scion xb. I was thinking of using a Skids transformation, but that seems too simple and will make him very brick like. Any one have any ideas of another transformation scheme. Also, what would be the best alt head and Bot to use? Would Hound be a good idea? I know that which Alt I use determines the transformation schemes. I thought that him being truckish and a xb, in my opinion, being truckish that he would be the obvious choice.

Can someone photo shop me a xb Evil Ironhide like the Kup one that Lobo had posted while he was finishing his up. Don’t know who did it but it was cool and I just wanted to see what someone could come up with. Here's an example of Skids I found done by Furious Goerge. I like this idea, but would like the window  to be infront of the face so it hase a G1 feel. Also, with him now being a decepticon, I think it would be cool to give him a different look. accually i think that using the scion xb for a ironhide would be a great idea, i dont think has/tak has tapped that venune yet ,gotta think outside the box sort a speak

Because I want him to be like MY xb, and my xb is black. Plus,  I made a decepticon liscene plate for it. Unless you think, because he gets a new alt mode that a new paint job would work. Do you think Ironhide would want to go from red to black. I just see a Black Ironhide as evil.

I thought about maybe an Armada Prime style for the shoulders and such which i could use the front glass and part of the roof as the chest. Then the waist would rotate and legs would rotate. Kida like this pic by LittleIron and Josh.

Do you really think a 108-horsepower, kiddie lunchboxmobile is fitting of Ironhide? 

 

I can see Scions as alt modes for minibots (think Gears, etc), but for the love of God not Ironhide.

Ok, I'm not asking if you like XB's or the idea of Ironhide being one. I just want some help with making a transformer. Having said that, if you have something helpful then please post and thank you. If not, then quit wasting my time and taking up space.

 

And as far as your "kiddie lunchboxmobile" F' Off! I don't rip on your car, so lay off mine.  Besides, a mini-van was anybetter to begin with.

 

What the hell does wether or not someone likes what mode I choose for MY custom have to do with helping me figure out a transformation scheme?
