So would you guys feel allright with female Decepticions in possible sequels? What about the addition other female Autobots later on?

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

I would like to see a female Decepticon, the only thing I did not like about fembots in G! was that they were Autobots only.

well i could never stand fembots from the beginning. People tend to like male represented bots better sorry to say.

i dont i find a female robot creepy unworldly if you like!

what do you mean by "unworldly" ?

knowing or spiritual, even sensuous

The regular "Sunday Update" continues over at DM.net, where Don updates the fans on progress on the Transformers and other projects. Probably most noteworthy this week is the update on the status of the amended script - there could be a completed draft as early as this week.

Find the thread HERE.

Here are the highlights...

We got the first dvd from Jason Condit (hi Jason! Thanks for the Henning VHS!) with the other five likely to come this week….

On the TF front Dreamworks is working day and night to finalize the Comicon Plans…

Bay is almost at the finish line with the deal ….

The writers might finish the newest draft this week…

Pretty light on info, but there are hints of what's to come, including Michael Bay possibly interacting with fans on the DM.net forums?

I will ask Bay to come here

Someday

just chill

let me get the guy signed

As regards specific questions, it was hard for Don to reveal too much. When asked if he could name the remaining, so far unnamed members of the cast, Don responded:

Yes when the draft is completed all will be revealed

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Although he was able to reveal that Spike's age-range will be "young adult". So far no actors have been suggested for any of the roles, even in vague discussions, beyond Welker and Cullen. He was also asked whether the "Arcee situation" (ie. here being in it, instead of a more popular choice) had changed. His reply was:

It has not changed

because the battle has not been fought

like a good general

I am gathering my troops

forming allegiances

then... the storm

Looks like we may see some movement on the status of the movie by the weekend. I'll keep this thread updated for any developments.

Thanks Angelophile.  We do appreciate the updates dude. :thumb

You can tell Don isn't very web savvy when it comes to posting on message boards.  It's like he tries to hint at things but it kinda comes out cheesy. :tflaugh

He's still a really cool guy for interacting with all the fans. :thumb
