the engine on the chest will give it a difference to other Alts.

Definitely with engine.

quick mock up of the colors.  Still haven't built the head, and the engine issue hasn't been decided yet. :D

 

Today I got the some of the car shell parts painted.  The entire thing should be completed before the end of the week.  Will take some pics of the paints tomorrow.

so you plan to do a speed braker? If so, then yea, you should keep the engine. it gives him more character.

if your gonna put the engine on the chest it doesnt make sence to have the gun because it too is the engine, maybe putting the gun in the chest will make it look better

BTW.  How's your other kitbashes coming along?  Alt Razorclaw, Alt Armada Sideswipe, and the Alt Ravage you had chopped? 

Alt razorclaw is almost done.  Need to fix up the wings and stuff.

Alt Arm sideswipe, still at the designing stage.  Can't get the arms right.

Alt ravage will become Alt Mach alert.  It will be converted to a Skyline cop car.  Hopefully it will be done within June.

There's something strange about an engine just randomly placed on his chest.  If the car was MR then I guess it would make more sense in my head ... but since it's not it just doesn't *feel* right. 

 

But I have an idea!!

 

Make his engine hang where it should -- between his legs -- and it can be his dingaling. 

 

He is a Night Viper car, afterall
