About Starscream's ghost in BW...

Recommended Posts

OK...so, it's pretty obvious that SS was dead when his spark somehow traveled across time to prehistoric Earth. However, some people argue that the event happened before season 3, although others think he died again as soon as he got his new body in S3 and he went back to being a wandering ghost/spark. Anyone else have any thoughts on this or what the real story might have been?

after the episode after starscream's ghost (i forget the name) he's hurtling through space where galvatron blasts him, dmaged beyond repair it is to be presumed his body depleates of energon and starscream has to abandon it.sucked through a wormhole into the past he heads for earth i think to try to warn himself of his fate on earth. however he realises that he is too far back in time and so decides after observation that the predacon base would be a good bet on obtaining a new body

ACtually, the episode in which Galvatron blasts him is "Ghost in the Machine."

I know BW showed his spark coming through space/time, but I always thought of it as Starscream's spark out for a walk while his body was offline in the Ark.

Doesn't exactly fit, but worked for me.

Trivia note: the episode titles "Starscream's Ghost" and "Ghost in the Machine" were mistakenly switched, which annoyed the writers b/c it gave away the "secret" right away...

but sparks can't just leave their bodies at will.

I know, but who's to say his mutant spark can't do odd things?  It's a reach, and really doesn't fit with the episode, he does mention Galvatron at one point, but it made me feel better. :redface

well then whatever makes you happy. :D we all have our little imaginary scenarios... like the way I pretend that G1 ended after TF:TM... :tflaugh

I don't think he was damaged beyond repair because the evidence doesn't

support that.  All we know is Starscream was floating through space and he

could have very well survived.  I believe Starscream appeared in Beast Wars

before he got his new body.
