I'm not going to be upset any way you slice it because I'd much rather watch good anime as opposed to commercial tie-in crap like this. Even if they put out another Unicron figure, I probably won't buy it. I'm happy with my Armadacron.

Can't stomach the stuff Takara's been cramming spewing out lately, or rather Aeon's been spewing out. The stuff makes me ill and the ill managed dubbings make them even worse. :eek I haven't watched GF, don't plan to because I don't care for the way the CG models look from all the screen caps I've seen. If the visuals are any good when Cybertron hits, then I'll check out the GF stuff then. I won't hold my breath though.

I just pray that the movie will prompt a new North American series, so plot and characterization will matter again. I miss that so much. *hugs Beast Wars DVDs*

I've heard that Hasbro already has Gonzo set to do the show tie-in for the movie.

How about just coming up with some new bad guys?

or good guys ;)

thats what they did in season 3 :P

I think Unicron has been spoiled by Armada and Energon, they really couldn't match his original incarnation in the movie.

As for Primus, i don't think he'd be able to transform in his traditional war ravaged shape, as he'd fall apart, so i think they should leave both characters as little more than figures of transformers mythology.

Unfortunately, "Primus" has already shown up in store listings. So, we -are- getting a Primus figure.  Supreme-sized, if I remember.  (or whatever the stupid new classification name is)
