That's what I'm asking for Rodr-Evil.  I'm asking for the specifics of what the eighties characters alt modes were.

I dont think that trailbreaker was a toyota, but more on the lines of a Bronco 1 but "customed" in the back. And Cliffjumper would today be possibly considered a jetta. Still a volkswagon like bumblebee. Dont forget Powerglide as a A-10 Thunderbolt.

Yeah, but they don't make them anymore because of problems with the vehicle's turning axis being directly under the driver/passenger compartment. Also, riding in them was very uncomfortable, as the wheels were directly under the compartment, and this also made repairs and general maintenance a royal pain. That's why most new trucks are stardard ("long-nose.").

Not quite, atleast, that's not the case here in Europe, where most trucks still have the COE-design. Not because we're so backwater in truck-design, but for economical reasons. The COE-design is compacter, and doesn't need as much material as the "Long-nose" design. Plus, because they are shorter, they are more manouvrable, and take up less parking-space. There are probably a million more reasons for COE over ....whatever the official name of "Long Nose" is, but the fact remains, there are hardly any long-nose trucks here in Europe.
