I got a mondo order from JRS today.  All the new GF, several Mugenbine and a Kabaya Roots.  I also got Green Ariel from Supercow Toys today.  So overall it was a good day.  But I am breaking in a new digital camera. So I thought I'd treat ya'll to some pics of GC-16 Ligerjack. I just did Lion mode and Bot mode for now.  Too tired to schlep out Prime to make LigerConvoy.  So here's some shots courtesy of Canon.

Lion Mode:

When you push the green button down, it roars.  You have to install 2 AAA batteries to make it work.Another view:

He a large toy.  As you can see here, he's a big as Lioconvoy in Lion mode:

And he's comparable in robot mode also:

This shot includes the exclusive force chip I have.  I added it to give him a wolverine type effect.

Urk. Pretty he is not. :wtf I have to seriously think about it because his "arm mode" seems more like a deterrent than anything else.

I dunno if I like Liger that much.. Beast Wars he is not.. -sigh-

:tflaugh1  it roars!*will get ligerjack just for that* :redface

I actually really like it.  Seems kinda... hard-edged I guess.  It's not supposed to be smooth and organic like BW.  (Note I am also a huge BW fan.)

I can't make a decision on it. It's got some good things about it, yet it's not quite up to the standards that GF has been setting. I dunno. It's.. well, ok.

Lio Convey is so much better.  I'll just stick with him.

he seems more Beast Machines than Beast Wars. I'll probably wait for the cybertron version.

So how does the roaring sound? That sound effect might actually be a keeper....
