Mostly with the Season 1 eps, They miscolored bots, especially Starscream, Thundercracker, and Skywarp.  They also messed up some layering. That's about all I can think of.

Pretty sure that was done by the original animtors...they did, however, add some extra sound effects that just didn't fit.

Not to mention the out-of-phase audio...

For the record, I don't have a problem with the FBI warning per se, it's the animated rhino/catapult and the bit with the breaking record that irk me.  Also, I never said they were unwatchable, I said they were rendered nigh-unwatchable.  That rhino was the Jar-Jar Binks of Transformers (worse than Wheelie, IMO), and yes, one hideous, offensively bad thing can ruin an otherwise decent product. 

 

You know why that damn rhino made the disks so bad for me?  Because, I'm honestly embarassed to play them around other people.  I feel like I'm being punished every time I watch them.  The rhino impedes my ability to watch my own DVD's, and I think that's a very legitimate complaint.

once again, only if you are embarrassed by your hobby... i've come to terms that Transformers is a kids show and that the toys are for kids....

Plus, you have to see that stupid Rhino on some of the MST3K dvds too

I'm not embarassed by my hobby or the show, in fact I'm proud of it.  What does embarass and offend me is the rigamarole I have to suffer through to get there.  And yes, these were children's programs originally, but kids aren't buying these, and they certainly aren't buying MST3K.  Rhino knows who its real target audience is, and they choose to act in a way that suggests zero respect for said audience.  It's humiliating.  Sony knows how to treat their consumers with some dignity.

maybe it has to do with the type of player you are using, though i can't imagine why...  My PS2 skips with the chapter forward button as does my uber cheap $90 DVD player :tfhuh and this works for all my boxed sets, G1 - BW
