I really enjoyed it and wished they made more episodes!! :clap

I liked it in the same way I liked the old Batman TV show from the 60's. Campy as hell but entertaining.

i've just bought the second half of tthe series on dvd

and i've loved it!

the only problem is...as with armada are the recap episodes...

just a waste of a half hour!

I just plain liked it.  It had potential to go far.  It's a shame it was just used to reintroduce the original concept of cars and vehicles and stuff, transitioning nicely from the beast era.  Megs/Galvy had a nice mix of vehicle and animal alternate mode.  Gaining an additional four animal modes as Galvy.  Car, plane, bat, two headed dragon, single headed dragon, griffen, elephant, hand, boat, and I'm forgetting the last one.  The fact was simple.  They used it to reignite the original concept of Decepticons vs. Autobots, and both sides have instead of animals for alternate modes, they once again had vehicle, both realistic and futuristic.  But for the transition to be easy, they had to leave some beasts in there, hence Sky-Byte and the Three Stooges as I call them.  Then they introduced their version of the Decepticons, which were nothing more than repaints of Bruticus and Lazer Rod Optimus Prime.  But again, it had potential to go far.  I mean, they leave you practically haning.  Does Fort Max make it back to Cybertron, and if he does, have some of the Decpticon/Predacons escaped.  Does he get destroyed by them en route to Cybertron.  What happens to Sky-Byte since he escaped and is on Earth.  Does he become a failed poet despite his insistance that he writes great haikus.  It's so annoying.  I wish those questions could be answered.

I just like the feel of it rather to the other series. And I thought it had potential actulally I'm watching it right now!!  :thumb

I thinking on writing a story that continues the story but it's fuseing Universe and R.I.D and adding Piranacon!! But i'm not very sure how it's going to turn out. :redface

I think it should have gotten a second season.... Well, it would have been better than armada.

Didn't like it.. :tdown .. wasn't really my line of humor and it reminded me more of digimon than transformers. The toys were pretty good though, even though I just have a handful of em.

RID was great...

Reasons I like it:

1. It never took itself too seriously.

2. Decepticons rocked.

3. Scourge was Awesome!

4. Autobots are cool.

5. Koji wasn't like Kicker.

6. The last 7-8 episodes were great.

7. Skybite and the Preds were funny as all hell.

BEST REASONS EVAH!!!!

Also, RID prime was pretty kick-@$$ Prime. :thumb

I agree with everything deathmarch said, and I really wish it would have had a second season.  I think that if it had two more seasons, it could be a hallmark like beast wars, because most characters were just starting to develop when it ended.
