Check this out! Spotted it on tfw2005. Apparantly Magnus will be at the World Hobby Festival in Japan at 6500 yen and limited to 30 pieces. Shame but still fantastic work.

man that is so awesome...

That is awesome. I only have one complaint. If they could do that with the WST, than they have no excuses as to why they ignored the armor for Masterpiece Magnus.  I hope they make a RobotMasters Magnus with armor next.

if memory serves me right they was a takara line pre-WST that had a mini magnus and i think thats it due to the cab not being a WST prime repaint NOTE: the grill area and the lack of toe's

stepper im not sure of if its a kit bash then its very well done

Well consider this...

1) They're charging $61 US for a 1.5" figure

2) It's a smaller version of an existing design

To make transforming armor correctly for MP Magnus, they'd be essentially creating from scratch a second 13" transformer, with a whole new design to conform to the MP body.

It would cost a fortune unless they mas produced it, and the number of people that bought Magnus is probably nowhere near enough to support that kind of production run.

So, the other option is to do a limited run, like with the WST figure, but then the price would be astronomical, like Mark's...probably $400+ US, and even most MP Magnus buyers would skip that over.
