Sure, The Girl Who Loved Powerglide will go down in infamy even years from now, but it doesn't compare to the horrors of Carnage in C Minor or Only Human.

No, MH...very, very little comes close to the sheer insanity of Only Human. The only thing I give that ep. credit for is the cameo by Cobra.

Autobot Spike had a human transferred to a robot's body. And then there's The Girl Who Loved Powerglide, as has already been mentioned. And Child's Play. And so on. It's not like they changed writers after TF:TM. It's just that prior to that, they were working with more established characters. After the movie, everything seemed new and so the WTF episodes just stood out that much more.

OK, fine...should I mention Autobop, which used that wonderfully generic techno/rock sound clip that sounded like it came from a porn flick for the whole episode, and involved the dueling sound waves being flung back and forth between Soundwave and Blaster, not to mention the retarded plot wherein the 'cons used music to hypnotize humans into doing their work for them? One of the definite "dear God WHY?!?" episodes of season 2.

And to be fair, I'll bring up Carnage in C-Minor...

 

One thing I learned from Transformers: in the wrong hands, music can be an evil weapon that causes pain and suffering.

Anyway...how about FFOD? Really didn't do a great job of breaking us into season 3, stretched a plot that could be done in two episodes out over five, and was an even WORSE season pilot than Autobot Spike.

season 2 was ace because the wtf moments were funny such as the autobots watching a soap and all groaning when it got taken off. infact the entire episode Prime target is wtf, but is fun because of it as Optimus said "amazing, a booby-trap that actually catches boobies"

 

season 3 most of the wtfs were with the anmation (most of it was pants to the extreme, see carnage in C minor that is the worst episode ever)

also the dinobots seemed to lose their ability to transform, (grimlocks new brain)

 

if you think about it tfs themselves are wtf. robots that turn into vehicles and other electrical appliances and weapons? :wtf
